The Varahi Stuti is a Sanskrit hymn of praise dedicated to Goddess Varahi — the boar-headed form of the Divine Mother, one of the Sapta Matrikas and closely associated with the Mahavidya tradition. Varahi is especially invoked for her power of stambhana (stilling, paralyzing, and silencing) — the ability to halt the speech, vision, and actions of enemies and obstacles before they can cause harm. This stuti calls upon her protective, restraining power and her grace in fulfilling the devotee’s desires.
