The Ten Mahavidyas

The Das Mahavidya are ten forms of the Goddess in the Tantric tradition, each embodying a different face of cosmic wisdom — time, speech, stillness, prosperity, and the letting go of illusion. Mahavidya Yatra invites players to meet all ten, learning their stories and symbols through short quizzes.

Kali — Goddess of Time and Transformation
The first Mahavidya, Kali represents the force of time itself, standing beyond illusion and ego even as two of her hands offer blessing and protection.

Tara — The Star Who Guides
Blue as the night sky, Tara helps souls cross the ocean of existence, offering protection to anyone who feels lost.

Tripura Sundari (Shodashi) — Beauty of the Three Worlds
Radiant and youthful, she carries a bow of sugarcane and arrows of flowers, showing that beauty itself holds great power.

Bhuvaneshvari — Ruler of the Universe
Golden and vast, Bhuvaneshvari is imagined as the very space in which the universe exists — the ground beneath every world.

Chinnamasta — The Self-Aware Goddess
One of the most striking Mahavidyas, she holds her own head, teaching that true wisdom sees beyond the illusion of the body.

Bhairavi — Fierce Fire of Discipline
Consort of Bhairava, she carries a rosary and a book, representing tapas — the inner fire that builds spiritual strength.

Dhumavati — Wisdom in What is Lost
Appearing as an elder without ornament, Dhumavati teaches that wisdom can be found even in loss and what the world overlooks.

Bagalamukhi — Goddess of Stillness
Glowing yellow like turmeric, she holds the power of stambhana — the ability to still harmful speech and negative forces.

Matangi — Goddess of Speech and the Arts
Dark green and unconventional, Matangi rules over music, speech, and wisdom found outside ordinary boundaries.

Kamala — Lotus of Prosperity
The final Mahavidya, golden and lotus-seated, she represents purity and the blossoming of spiritual wealth.

Kali, Tara, and Tripura Sundari are free to explore for everyone. The remaining seven Mahavidyas unlock with a House of Ghantee Membership, alongside exclusive wallpapers and videos.
