The Worlds of Loka Yatra

Loka Yatra takes children on a journey across five lokas — celestial realms, each home to a major deity or group of deities in the Hindu tradition. As players explore each world, they learn its central stories and iconography through short quizzes, earning stars for correct answers.

Kailash — Realm of Shiva
High in the Himalayas, Kailash is the mythological abode of Shiva, the great meditator. Players learn about his vahana Nandi, his damaru drum, the serpent Vasuki coiled at his neck, and the significance of his third eye.

Vaikuntha — Realm of Vishnu
Vaikuntha floats above an ocean of milk, where Vishnu rests with Goddess Lakshmi. This world introduces his eagle Garuda, his discus the Sudarshan Chakra, his conch Panchajanya, and his avatar Narasimha.

Devi Lok — Realm of the Goddess
Devi Lok explores the fierce, protective power of the Goddess — Durga’s lion, the nine nights of Navratri, the ten Mahavidyas, and the story of Mahishasura, the buffalo demon she defeated.

Ganesha’s Grove — Remover of Obstacles
This world covers Ganesha’s mouse vahana, his love of modaks, his broken tusk, and the tradition that credits it as the pen he used to write the Mahabharata.

Nakshatra Lok — Realm of the Nine Grahas
The final world introduces the Navagraha — the nine celestial bodies of Vedic astrology — including Surya, the shadow planets Rahu and Ketu, and the significance of Shani and Shukra.

Kailash and Vaikuntha are free to explore for everyone. The remaining three worlds — Devi Lok, Ganesha’s Grove, and Nakshatra Lok — unlock with a House of Ghantee Membership, alongside exclusive wallpapers and videos.
