Baglamukhi Devi is the eighth of the ten Mahavidyas, worshipped for her
power of stambhana — the ability to paralyze and silence hostile forces.
She is shown in radiant yellow, gripping a demon’s tongue in one hand and
raising a mace in the other.

The imagery is direct: the seized tongue represents control over harmful
speech, false accusations, and malicious intent; the mace represents the
force to strike down what threatens her devotees. Her golden-yellow form
has earned her the name Pitambara Devi, “she who wears yellow.”

Tradition holds she emerged from a turmeric-hued lake to still a cosmic
storm — and is invoked to this day by those facing opposition, legal
disputes, or hidden enemies. This film brings her iconography to life,
